Callaway Corvette AeroWagen: A Unique Wagon Twist on the C7 Corvette

The Callaway Corvette AeroWagen might fly under the radar for many, but this bespoke creation transforms the standard C7 Corvette into a head - turning shooting brake. Crafted by Callaway Cars, the renowned Corvette tuner, it blends supercar performance with wagon practicality in a package that defies convention.

Based on the C7 Corvette Stingray or Z06, the AeroWagen retains the donor car’s powertrain while receiving a radical body rework. The stock coupe’s rear end is replaced with a custom - designed wagon tail, extending the roofline into a functional cargo area. The conversion maintains the Corvette’s aerodynamic efficiency, with subtle spoilers and a sleek profile that echoes classic European shooting brakes. Under the hood, buyers can opt for Callaway’s performance upgrades, such as the SC680 supercharger system for the Stingray’s 6.2L V8, boosting output to 680 hp—enough to rocket the AeroWagen from 0 - 60 mph in under 3 seconds. The Z06 variant, with its 650 hp supercharged V8, remains equally ferocious, combining track - ready performance with everyday usability.

Inside, the AeroWagen’s cabin mirrors the C7 Corvette’s driver - centric layout, with premium leather upholstery and carbon - fiber accents. The extended rear space offers 28 cubic feet of cargo capacity—triple the standard coupe’s trunk—making it ideal for weekend getaways or gear - hauling. Callaway limited production to just 15 units, each handcrafted to order, ensuring exclusivity. While purists might debate the Corvette’s transformation into a wagon, the AeroWagen proves that performance and practicality can coexist in a package that’s as functional as it is visually striking—a true niche masterpiece in the world of custom automobiles.
